KICK RACISM OUT OF SPORTS, SCHOOLS AND SOCIETY (KROSS)

KROSS

Whilst great efforts and progress have been made at the EU and member states levels to tackle discrimination and social inequalities, all available evidence paints a picture of continuing inequality, prejudice, discrimination and intolerance.

Racism continues to impact negatively on communities and individuals, and recent demonstrations of overt racism by Spanish motor racing fans highlight the prevalence of everyday racism, as well as the need for sports organisations to actively engage in challenging racism amongst their supporters and wider society. Alongside major sports organisations, education providers are at the forefront of addressing issue of racism and discrimination with young people.

Whilst a great deal of activity and examples of good practice in education and sport to combat racism exist across the member states represented in the consortia, there is no mechanism at present for sharing and promoting this work in a systematic way across the education and sports sectors. This project brings together key experts from the fields of education, sport, civil society and research institutions to review best practices and achievements of sport and education providers in this field, as well as to enable dissemination of learning from this process through the development of an in-service training course for teachers and coaches, and of a resource pack with a curriculum module for use with young people in schools.

Meeting in Cyprus : Elderly Care Vocational Skill Building and Certification

The project Elderly Care Vocational Skill Building and Certification (ECVC)

The aim of The project Elderly Care Vocational Skill Building and Certification (ECVC) is to implement a vocational training and skill validation system leading to the “Elderly Care Vocational Certificate” in the Health and Welfare educational field.

The “ECV Certificate” is an effective qualification of “post-secondary pre-tertiary” level.

It is achieved through a “learning-practicing-certification-rehabilitation» cycle that empowers the local communities with skilled elderly care workers for whom there is increasing demand due to the ageing of the population all over Europe.

Benefit instruction in rural areas from transnational perspective Rumania

EDUCATED PRAGUE KICK OFF MEETING

The project faces the special need of teachers, trainers, lecturers and other staff working in education.
Especially for this group of professionals it is extremely important to have access to LLL, to learn to teach, to keep themselves up to date with modern learning methods.
The aim of the project is to design and offer to target group a product – on line course on EU topics which is easily accessible to all of them, which is modern, challenging, European, giving them opportunities to improve not only academic knowledge but also other skills, e.g. digital skills, language skills.
The methodology of the work is to share the best practises of 7 partners active in education both in formal and informal one, to put the best input from each of them as for content so for a form.
